Hi,
I am new to your list.

My gg g'ma, Emeline DEMORES / DEMMORES (surname variations found in the death
records of her children) was b. 1827 PA. According to her entry in the 1900
Chippewa Co., MI census, her father was b. in MA.

The closest surname I can find in MA is for Edward DEMMORE who was in
Buckland in 1790 according to a census cdrom. The cdrom entry also states to
see also "More About the Town of Buckland." Edward would probably be of the
age to be Emeline's grandfather.
