A number of readers of the list have asked how our family links to Franklin
County since my posting appear from all over the county. Listed below are
the surnames for which we have links with in Franklin County. My interest is
to compile a computerized database of the early settlers within Franklin
County (> 1850). This database is "COMPILED" from the records listed below.
In addition to the books listed numerous readers of the list have shared
parts of their family genealogy to help fill in many of the blanks and link
extended family lines. I'm currently computerizing the History of Hawley
(1953 edition) and have completed "A" through "G".
