Ebenezer MERRILL lived abt.1780-aft.1832 in Rowe, Franklin County,
MA. Ebenezer was an Officer (Sergeant) in the War of 1812, and a Selectman
in 1819, 1820, 1823, 1829, and 1831. He performed at least one marriage in
1819. He was a representative to the General Court in 1832.

In Rowe in 1811, he filed intent to marry Louisa ROBERTS of Whitingham,
Windham Co, VT. His wife Louisa died in 1813 at age 30 and is buried in
the West Cemetery in Rowe. In Rowe in 1829, Ebenezer MERRILL Esq. filed
intent to marry Sophia COE of Granville (state not specified).

I find Ebenezer only in the 1830 Census. I do not find him in "A Merrill
Memorial."

Can anyone provide any additional information about Ebenezer MERRILL? Who
was his father?
