In the early days there were three brothers of the Kinsmans, Samuel, David
and Joseph.
KINSMAN had the following children:

SECOND GENERATION
2. Samuel KINSMAN was born on March 1, 1769 in Barre, Worcester,
Massachusetts.1 He Int. Marriage on April 23, 1831 in Heath, Franklin,
Massachusetts.2 He died on September 4, 1838 in Heath, Franklin,
Massachusetts.3 He was buried in Centre Cemetery, Heath, Franklin,

Came to town before 1795 and bought 30 acres of Isaac Gould for 60 pounds.
Samuel and his son, Bliss Kinsman, did quite an extensive business in making
brick; the "factory" was at the foot of the hill on the flat, at the clay
bank. The brick used in the building of the Kinsman house was made here as
well as those of Mr. Hosmer's. There are other houses in town that are made
of brick or are lined with brick which no doubt came from the same source.
Mr. Samuel Kinsman was killed here by the clay-bank caving in on him. 10
children.
He was married to Martha HENRY in 1831. Martha HENRY was born in 1781.5 She
died on January 17, 1846 in Heath, Franklin, Massachusetts.6 She was buried
in Centre Cemetery, Heath, Franklin, Massachusetts.7 of Hubardston
He was married to Kezia NEWTON.8 Kezia NEWTON was born on August 8, 1773 in
Southboro, Worcester, Massachusetts.9 She died on March 22, 1829 in Heath,
Franklin, Massachusetts.10 She was buried in Centre Cemetery, Heath,
Franklin, Massachusetts.11 Samuel KINSMAN and Kezia NEWTON had the following
children:
5 i. Susanna KINSMAN was born on April 18, 1795 in Heath, Franklin,
Massachusetts.12 She died on October 28, 1797 in Heath, Franklin,
Massachusetts.13
6 ii. Lucy KINSMAN was born on August 14, 1797 in Heath, Franklin,

Franklin, Massachusetts.23 He was buried in Centre Cemetery, Heath,

David settled on the place now owned by Mr. Hosmer. 11 children.
He was married to Abigail FOX on December 27, 1804 in Heath, Franklin,
Massachusetts.25 David KINSMAN and Abigail FOX had the following children:

Bought in 1831 the ancestral estate of their father, Samuel Kinsman.
Bought 95 acres of his father for $2,500, which shows that considerable work
had been done on the land. 8 children.
He was married to Elizabeth (Betsey) TEMPLE (daughter of Nathaniel TEMPLE and
Polly STONE) in 1830.50 Elizabeth (Betsey) TEMPLE was born on June 25, 1811
