Ancestors of Caroline KEET. The following is compiled based on information
forwarded by Bernard Young. Seeking information which may allow us to link
additional extended family members that resided within Franklin County or
whose descendants came to Franklin County.

FIRST GENERATION
1. Caroline KEET was born on 2 Mar 1811 in Montague, Franklin,
Massachusetts.

SECOND GENERATION
2. Thomas KEET was born on 30 Jul 1784. He Int. Marriage on 14 Dec 1807 in
Montague, Franklin, Massachusetts. He died on 30 Jun 1861. Source: Bernard

Thomas Keet moved his family about 1835 from Massachusetts and settled in
Adams County, Ohio, completing the final portion of their journey floating
down the Ohio River on a log raft. The raft was large enough to shelter
themselves and the Montague family (who traveled with them).
Thomas bought a new Bible from Andrus and Judd of Hartford, Ct. in 1835 and
copied the family history from an earlier record into it. Thomas lived in
Bentonvile, Ohio and worked as a carpenter. (The above information is from a
descendant, Debbie L. Roush of Manchester, Ohio, 2002, and is coped from the
Bible mentioned above.) He was married to Levina TAYLOR on 6 Jan 1808 in
Montague, Franklin, Massachusetts.

3. Levina TAYLOR was born on 2 Mar 1790 in Montague, Franklin,
Massachusetts. She died on 1 Jan 1846.

Thomas KEET and Levina TAYLOR had the following children:

v. Frederick Taylor KEET was born on 2 Nov 1815 in Montague,
Franklin, Massachusetts. He was baptized in Jul 1823 in Congregational
Church, Montague, Franklin, Massachusetts.
vi. Henry Augustus KEET was born on 8 Jun 1818 in Montague, Franklin,
Massachusetts. He was baptized in Jul 1823 in Congregational Church,
Montague, Franklin, Massachusetts. He died on 7 Jan 1892.
vii. Cholister KEET was born in Apr 1821 in Montague, Franklin,

Massachusetts. He died about 1792. He Will - Dated on 20 Feb 1792 in
Montague, Franklin, Massachusetts.
