Here's a little information for you. Refer to History of Bernardston, 1736-1900 by Lucy Cutler Kellogg, p.313 for a little genealogical data on Oliver and Ruby (and her marriage c.1749 to Henry BLISS) BREWSTER. Apparently they (BLISSs) later resided in Colrain.
Checking Colrain vitals listed two deaths (no birhts or marriages) for BLISS; Ezra who D.20 JUNE 1815, ae.24 (info from the E. Colrain Cem records) and a BLISS, ? widow, ae.62 . Issue of July 4, 1792 (I'm not sure what that means) from Greenfield Gazette & Courier newspaper account. The newspaper is on microfilm.
I do not have the Bernardston Vital Records which I'm pretty certain are available in a published book. If any of these folks died prior to 1812, any probate or land records would be in Hampshire County at Northampton, MA Hall of Records. After 1812, probate and land records would be in Greenfield, Franklin County Courthouse.
It would be worthwhile to go to Bernardston and Colrain to check the town records via the town clerk. If that's not possible, I suggest you contact each clerk (or the historical societies?) to see who (possibly for a fee) might be able to assist you.
GOOD LUCK.
