Farmer, of Bernardston, Mass. and later of Shoreham, Addison County, Vermont. Mr. Bliss was a commissioned offiecer in the Army under General Washington during the Revolutionary War. He removed to Vermont in about 1800 and there resided with his son Calvin, Jr.
