Humbly shews Martha Rice of Gill, that at Gill aforesaid on the twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine, she was lawfully married to Samuel Rice, then of Charlestown in the County of Cheshire and state of New Hampshire, and that she has ever since conducted and behaved herself in all things and at all times as a good and faithful wife, yet said samule, not regarding the marriage covenant or the peace, comfort and happiness of the said Martha, hath wholly neglected to provide for the support of herself or Child, but hath absented himself from her and hath committed adultery with divers persons unknown and now resides in Lebanon in the state of New Hampshire and lives in open adultery with one Mary Nichols, Whereas the said Martha prays that a divorce from the bo!
