The name is a lot more common than I would have guessed. I saw some material on Jaasaniah CROSBY when I "googled" "Jaasaniah". Apparently, Google Books has made a transcription of "Vital Records of Billerica, Massachusetts to the Year 1850" it lists the date of the baptism of his daughter Hannah. If you haven't already see it, just type the name Jaasaniah and you'll find it. It will also come back with "Did you mean to search for: "Jaazaniah". Click on that too; it will show the biblical derivation of the name which means "whom Jehovah hears". I have never seen so many derivations in the spelling of a name as this one.
