Elisabeth "Treue" = Elisabeth Hedderich aka Dietrich
Upon visiting Wahnwegen in 2007, I learned that Catharine, the wife of Phillip Burg, shoemaker, emigrated with him in 1848 and that on that occasion, her name before marriage was given as "Hedderich." It seems probable that Elisabeth, first wife of Adam Partenheimer, was the daughter of Catharina Hedderich by a previous marriage so she is not the daughter of Phillip Burg except by adoption. In some of my research I found her maiden name given as "Dietrich" in Mass Archives or perhaps in an obituary.
However, "Hedderich" seems the most likely maiden name of the woman listed as "Elisabeth Treue" on LDS websites and in the Partenheimer family history.
