I, too, use a 3-ring binder, or rather 2 [for the two sides of our family].
It's a large photo album & I, too, use the dividers, but I don't have any
genealogy there, just sections on Pictures [people, places & gravesites] ,
Wills, History, Military [which includes pensions], Maps, Obit.s & a
Miscellaneous, for interesting letters, copies of bible entries, etc. Since
it's all in one place, it's easy to take to a reunion [only on my husband's
side, so far]. The genealogy, however, expands every year, as I accumulate
more info & therefore I don't print that out until just before a reunion, in
several different formats. People just love to find themselves & when they
are Not there, I'm apt to get up to date info. LOL
