Looking for information regarding my gr.gr.grandparents .
Damase Dion who was a night watchman in one of the Cotton Mills,in Springfield. Any information as to where I might begin would be helpful,ie Mill records and where they would have lived at that time. I do have a copy of the census,which tells me this information but where to begin looking is difficult as I live in Canada. Hoping someone can enlighten me. Thanking you in advance.
