In 1901, the Daily Hampshire Gazette was the newspaper in Northampton which
is the "big" city near Southampton. I believe they have a website to check on
their archives. There is also the library in Northampton (Forbes Library)
which can be located online. They have a lot of local history/genealogy
resources there.
