History of Colrain by Patrie has the following entry:
John McCrellis, Jr. b. abt 1740, d. May 27, 1765, drowned while fishing in
the Connecticut River. He served in the French and Indian War. he m.
Pelham, Oct. 21, 1760, Hannah McConkey of Pelham, dau. of William, b. Apr.
30, 1742, d. Sept 21, 1825, a. 83. She m. (2) Archibald Thomas of Rowe,
practiced medicine and bore him 9 children. John lived on 3rd division lot
#8 and established his home there, buying it from ebenezer Seaver of roxbury
June 5, 1760.Then it lists the children of John Jr. and Hannah. Lot's of
McCrellis' in this book, but find no more on Conkey or McConkey. Sandy

She was living in Pelham when she m John McCrellis Jr, 21 Oct 1760 in
Pelham.
