Hello Sherrie and other list members,

Thank you for the information about the Northampton VR's.
For those of us who live in areas of the country far from Northampton, I
would like to add this:
Smith College also has copies of Trumbull's "History of Northampton", one of
which has been unbound for ease of copying.
I wrote to the college several years ago, and they graciously sent me 73
pages of pertinent information copied from that book.
Unfortunatley, the book is in such bad condition that it is not available
for interlibrary loan.

An on-line version of the Northampton VR's is available - I have been using
a printed version of it for years. Look at this website to view the records:

I have found it an invaluable aid to researching basic records, and it is
far easier than having to visit an LDS Family History Center.
