I just joined this list and need help on Thomas Hunter

Thomas Hunter b. about 1751 of Manchester, Eng. On his pension application (S32876) 17 April 1818 FHL#971375, resident of Hadley, Mass. 69yrs. A marine, service Apr 1777 on Frigate, discharged Mar 1780 Boston. Unable to labor but little - a farmer, have wife very infirm 67 yrs old. Revolutionary War Pension started 23 Nov 1819 and was sent to Samuel Hinekley, Northampton, Hampshire, Mass;

Found a Thomas Hunter and Elizabeth Newell md 19 Mar 1780 Woodstock, Windham, Conn which looks like it could be these but can't prove. Any one have any inf. on them?

Also haven't figured out who Samuel Hinekley is - a guess that maybe it is a son in law?

Have a son Thomas b. Hadley, hampshire, Mass. and possibly 2 dau. Anything sound familiar? Would love to correspond with anyone knowing or descended from these.
