Hi Listers:
I read an exchange of Postings earlier in which a lady said
her parentage was descended from Acadians. I have found the info.
that Acadia was a French colony in which the colonists overthrew the
French rulers & drove them out. Subsequently, the colonists evicted
all of those remaining who spoke the French language. However, I am
unable to find exactly where Acadia was located. I also found that the
name Acadians is interchangeable with the name Cajuns.

I'm sure some of you knowledgeable Listers out there will know the
answer to this.
