Hi List;
I am new to the Maine list. I have been researching my New Brunswick roots
for the past couple of years and now it seems that some of the family moved
to Maine and then disappeared.
I am looking for the descendants of Joseph Albert Palmer. He was born:
August 5, 1863 in Keswick, New Brunswick. He died December 14, 1925 in
Stacyville, Maine and is buried in Houlton, Me. According to his death
record he was married to C. E. Fumess. The funeral home record has her
listed as (former), so I don't know if she died before him or it they were
divorced. According to some old family records he had the following
children: Trellia Palmer, Gertrude Palmer, Ruby Palmer, Clair Palmer, Edwin
Palmer, and Mildred Palmer. I'm not positive how accurate this information
is, and I don't know if the children were born in Maine or NB, but I would
really like to correspond with anyone that has any information on this
family.
Joseph was the son of Moses and Susan (Haines) Palmer of Keswick, NB. It is
not known when he moved to Maine or when he married.
I know it's not much to go on, but any leads would be really appreciated.
Thanks - Jeanne Palmer Kline
