RITA ........ Thankyou for your interest in the McGuire's. Unfortunately
I know little about them. My G/ gm, Nancy McGuire, married Peter
Haggerty, who was from Co Donegal, probably around 1825 & probably
someplace in Ireland, maybe Co Donegal or Co Derry. They migrated, ~1825,
to NB Canada, probably Fredericton area. Two of their kids were born in
Canada: Mary Anne & Bridget Sophia. Nancy had a relative, ? sister/cousin
?, Mary, who married a James Landers at St Dunstans, Fredericton NB
Canada. Nancy & Peter moved on to Bangor ME, ~1830, & then to the Houlton
ME area where they finally settled. Nancy appears in the census records
with her family but there is no hint of other McGuires other than Mary
above. Also I know of no Fitzgibbon's nor Early's in my "tree". Hang in
there & have fun.
