Well, the info I was looking for was any kind of census records from the
early 1900's for Shirley Johnson. But as of now, a lot of very, very
helpful people have sent me a ton of info from the 1920 and 1930 census
records and in the process made me a very happy beginning genealogist
:-) If I were to impose on you good people any further, it would be to
request a census look-up in 1880 for the family of Peter Johnson.
Melvin (or Melville) his son, should be about 8 years old at that time,
and I suspect that they were living in Gouldsboro, Hancock County,
Maine.
Agan, thanks to everyone that sent me information. You have no idea how
grateful I am.
