Records at the CT State Liibrary are going to take longer also, a few
people were laid off due to budget cuts, and more are taking an early
retirement incentive. If you visit the staff is still verry helpfull and
curtious. The vital records for CT are not keep there, but they do have
thousands of books of records from all over New England and some from
other states. If you are in Hartford that is a place that you can't miss
visiting.
