I am not researching the WILKINS surname, but I do want to be sure you
have seen the two volumes of "Records of Lewiston, Maine" compiled by
Douglas L. Hodgkin and published by Picton Press. There are dozens of
WILKINS references, but the one I wanted to mention is from "Early Vital
Records 1741-1836". There are 10 children of David and Molly WILKINS
listed, born between 1768-1788. There are also deaths of some of those children
and of David and Molly, a cattle mark for David, and marriage intentions and
marriage for David WILKINS and widow Isabelle TURNER in 1804.
