Hi Christine,

I have a lot of Dockendorff families in my research. They originate
with Theodoricus (or Dietrick) Dockendorff and Gertrud. Their son,
Jacob was born in 1733 in Winzenheim, Wuerttemburg, Germany and died 12
Mar 1812 in Bristol, ME. He married Marguerite McFarland in Pemequid,
ME and settled in Bristol, ME. They had 14 children, ..... some ended up
in Bristol, ME; Windsor, ME; PEI, Canada; Pittston, ME; and Wilimgton,
NC.
