This is indeed a generous offer by Linda Clark. Thank you Linda.
Not really being aware of Maine geography though, what area's of Maine does
"Down East" entail? Would this include Androscoggin County?
Thank you,
Jan Buker

Linda Clark has generously offered to do look-ups in the publication,
"Downeast Ancestry." Her only stipulation is that she be furnished with as
much information as possible. For those of you who aren't familiar with
"Downeast Ancestry" as I wasn't, Linda has provided the following
description of that publication. "... Downeast Ancestry was a bi-monthly
genealogy newsletter that was started in 1977 and continued through 1992.
These newsletters are such a treasure trove of information about Maine ,
Maine families and from whence they came. There is information on bibles,
census records, town clerk records, early town records , old cemeteries and
so on. These newsletters came out of Machias, Maine. Some Volumes have 50
plus pages in each issue. Many Volumes have many more pages plus each volume
has a great index." For inquires, please contact HYPERLINK
