LOLAR, TERRENCE (TERRY) JOSEPH - The death of Terrence J. Lolar of
Tobique First Nation and formerly of Indian Island, Me. Loving and
devoted husband, father, and grandfather, died March 7, 2007 at the
Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 58. He was born on April 15, 1948 in
Old Town, Me., he was the son of the late Henry and Bernice (Nelson)
Lolar. Terry graduated in 1967 from Old Town High School. Following
graduation, Terry enlisted into the United States Army serving in the
Viet-Nam War after returning to the United States, he served many years
in the Army National Guard in August 2002, he was honorably discharged
from the Army National Guard of Maine and transferred to the United
States Army Retired Reserve. He is survived by his wife, Mary Laurena
Saulis of Tobique First Nation; one daughter, Mary Kelly Saulis; one
son, James (Sarah) Lolar; one granddaughter, Rowyn; one grandson, Avery;
two step-daughters, Veronica (Marc) Michaud and Daisy (Ronald) Bear; two
steps-sons, Daniel (Randi) Saulis and Adam Saulis (Fianci Sara Bear); 13
step-children; two brothers, Owen (Jo Ann) Lolar and Dale Lolar; many
aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. Resting at his residence 4 New Road,
Tobique First Nation on Thursday, March 8, 2007 until time of service.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 2pm from St.
Ann's Catholic Church with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment
in St. Ann's Cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements by White's
Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB. (
