Hello,

For a few years I corresponded with a John GREENLAW in Portland who is a
"distant cousin" - also descended from Joe and Clara KIDDER in Princeton.
But, I haven't heard from him in quite a while. In July, I found out
that his mother had passed away in Portland, Mrs. Rita GREENLAW. I sent
him a note of sympathy via the Internet, but I never heard back from him.

Out of curiousity, I checked the SSDI and found out a John GREENLAW from
Portland passed away in July 2006. That means he died exactly one year
before his mother did.

I would like to find out if this John GREENLAW is the man I was
corresponding with, and who sent me a "family photo" which included Joe
KIDDER. And, I was wondering if anyone had access to the newspaper
archives of Portland.
