Hi Dave,

Another thought about the Newmans. Especially since you definatively
place them in Sanford/Springvale. Do you have anyone who can do looking for
you in that area? The Springvale public library has a great genealogy
library for it's size. There may even be a Newman history there. I don't
know if library is on line or not, or if there is anyone there who can do
inquiries.

The public library in New Bedford, Massachusetts IS on line. I know
they charge to do inquiries...but they not charge if you just ask if they
have a family history of the Newmans....then perhaps we could get someone to
do the look-up who live in the area.
