Hi Homer,
Just saw this message on Susan Hunt and wondered if you have additional information on the Hunt surname. I am decended from the Hunts, my father is Hollis B. Hunt who passed away last month, and my grandfather Hollis B Hunt Sr. resided in Liberty county, Texas. We have never been able to get past him, as something happened and his father took one child with him and disappeared, and my g grandmother kept my grandfather with her. No one seems to know anything else, and since my father just passed away I so much want to trace them. Thanks for any information.

Can someone explain the "secret" found at the end of the SUSAN
HUNT inventory which is on page 32 of V 7 of the NEHGR?
---------------
An inventorie of the goods and lands of mrs Susan Hunt of Soodberie,
Amt 48. 11. 2., taken by Peter Noyes, Walter Hayns, who deposed the
24th of the 9th mo 1642, before the govrnor & my selfe, Incr: Nowell
secret.

Since Susan HUNT is said to have been the widow of Robert HUNT,
who died in Sudbury in 1640 leaving 3 or 4 minor children, there should
be some probate record about guardianships.
Does anyone out there know about this family??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Homer
