Jason Russell, Jr. (1742-1825), served in Capt. Joseph Barrett's
company, Colonel Nichols' regiment, which marched to relieve Gen. Arthur
St. Clair at Ticonderoga, 1777. He was born in Mason; died in Arlington,
Mass.

Jonathan Bunker (1729-96) enlisted, 1782, in the Continental Army, New
Hampshire service, for three years. He was born in Durham; died in
Barnstead, N. H.
Josiah Nutting (1748-90) served as private in Capt. John Nutting's
company of minute men, Col. William Prescott's regiment, which marched
on the Lexington Alarm. He was born in Pepperell, Mass.; died in
Norridgewock, Me.
