I've already checked Frank Dyer's wonderful Dyer Website, but so far have not found
STEPHEN DYER b 1790 Portsmouth RI or Fall River MA, d 1836, m. SALLY BRIGHTMAN b
1792.
It is possible Frank Dyer's parents may have been SAMUEL DYRE b abt 1757 Portsmouth
RI and MARY DURFEE b 1761 Portsmouth, Newport, RI.
Any comments or suggestions again, would be greatly appreciated,
