Hi again,
I'd like to clarify something I typed earlier this morning. The Rachel
CROSBY who married James Kidder's son, Ephraim Kidder, was Rachel was the
daughter of Simon CROSBY and Rachel BRACKET, then of Braintree, MA:

"5 EPHRAIM KIDDER (James), of Billerica, Mass., born there 31 Aug. 1660,
"on the paternal estate"; died there 25 Sept. 1724. He married first, at
Billerica, 4 Aug. 1685, RACHEL CROSBY, born at Braintree, Mass., 24 Aug.
1660; died at Billerica, 24 Sept. 1721, daughter of Simon and Rachel
(Bracket) Crosby; and secondly, ......"

This Simon CROSBY was the son of Simon CROSBY and Ann ____ of Cambridge, MA.
... Rachel BRACKETT was the daughter of Deacon Richard BRACKETT of
Braintree, MA. ... Simon and Rachel CROSBY had: Rachel, b1660,
Simon, b1663, Thomas, b1665/6, Joseph, b1669, Hannah, b1672 (married
DANFORTH), Nathan, b1674/5, Josiah, b1677, Mary, b1680, and Sarah, b1684.

This Simon CROSBY (b1663) married Hannah EVERETT (1) and Mrs. Abigail PARKER
(2). Simon and Hannah had: Simon, b1689, Abigail, b1691, John, b1694,
John, b1696, Samuel, b1698, Hannah, b1700, and Mary, b1702. (Hannah
evidently died from childbirth complications in 1702). Simon and Abigail
had: James, b1704, Phineas, b1705, Solomon, b1708, Nathaniel, b1710,
Rachel, b1712, and Benjamin, b1715.

Note: I am descended from Samuel CROSBY, b1698, through his son, Samuel,
through his son, Simon, through his son, John, and through his daughter,
Eliza Ann, who married Jacob Homer HUTCHINSON of the .. Charlestown/Woburn
and Winchester HUTCHINSON families.
