Hi My Name is Kathleen and I am looking for Mapplebecks who may be related to my Mapplebecks. They came from Nova Scotia , Brooklyn, NY and I believe Ireland. My Mapplebecks start with Thomas Mapplebeck born Ireland? and his wife Elizabeth Mapplebeck ( don't know here maiden name), Son Abraham Mapplebeck born about 1847 in Halifax, Canada married an Margaret C Connor born Nov 30, 1846 i around Bishop Mt, Kings Co., N.S. they had 4 children. Theophilus Mapplebeck born February 27, 1871, George Fredrick Mapplebeck born Nov 1873, Alice Ann Mapplebeck born November 20, 1874, and Edward Lemont Mapplebeck Born Jan 1, 1877. George F. and his brother Edward L.Came to live in Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY. George married a Catherine Mooney and Edward married a Mary Josephine Smith. George , Catherine, Edward and Mary are all buried at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Kings Co., Brooklyn, NY. So if any one can make a connection here please posst or e-mail me at
