Good afternoon Ladies and gentlemen

My name is Basil Cocking from Hampshire, England.

I am tying to find out more about an Edward Howard from England who is in
the Montague, Franklin, 1880 census aged 30. I have a copy of a probate
record from Middlesex County vis:

Can someone give an explanation of the above and look up them up to get more
details.
Ed became a US citizen in 1892.

I am also particularly interested establishing his parents name so I can
pursue his English roots. I believe that Death certificates often give this
information, can anyone give advice on how to peruse these.
