John Ambery, age 26 and Hannah (Johanna) Cotter, age 24,
both from Ireland were married in Lexington, Middlesex County, MA
on 2/27/1870, as documented by the Archives
Division, Commonwealth of MA.
By the time, they migrated to Jersey City, NJ
their surname changed to Ambry.
John Ambery possibly came to America, via Boston, date unknown. Does any one have access to immigration/passenger records that may include their separate names? Online immigration records have not been successful for locating John Ambery nor Hannah (Johanna) Cotter.
