Hello. I'd just like to say that I made a mistake yesterday when I said that I had a LOCKE ancestor. We have so many of the early Arlington surnames on our family tree that I stated that without first checking my sister's papers.

She did most of the CROSBY / HUTCHINSON family tree in regards to Arlington and Winchester, MA, etc. And, what she showed was that there was a Harriet LOCKE, but she was a first wife of the brother of my ancestor, Jacob HUTCHINSON, of Winchester. In 1846, Harriet married Thomas HUTCHINSON, but she died at the end of 1848.
They probably did not have children. In 1851, Thomas married Mary MARSTERS, and they had 2 children, Thomas and Mary.

On this branch of my family tree, other early Arlington surnames include: FROST, CUTTER, COOPER, HARRINGTON, PERRY, HOMER, BUCKNAM.

(Please refer to my other posting on the MAMiddle List.)
