record of his marriage, said to
be of Shrewsbury, m. Jan 26, 1726-7, Kezia Cloyes b. Dec. 8, 1705, dau. of
James Cloyes of Framingham.

1. Mary Goddard who m. John Houghton of Brattleboro, Vermont.
2. Josiah Goddard b. 1729; a farmer of Northboro; m. Lydia Ball who died
leaving two children and he
married (2) Anna Perry b. 1742. He sold his farm due to his lameness and
moved to Spencer where he
died June 5, 1798. His widow, Anna died at Paxton, June 2, 1822. Children:
