Thank you everyone for the helpful replies. I won't waste my time now trying
to order them by mail. The online resource would be cost prohibitive for the
number of files I am interested in, especially since the state only charges
$1.00 per page. I believe the online resource is in the vicinity of $45 per
order but I'm not sure.

I think Betty's suggestion about a part-time job for someone near Cambridge
is a wonderful idea!

The online index for Norfolk is on ancestry.
