Hello,
While going through newspapers this morning, I was remind of an article in
"The Lowell Sun" on June 19. It's titled, "A Very Grave Mystery" on the
front page.
" Who is George W. SEAVER? ....... Seaver's headstone was recently found
buried in his backyard. The stone was unearthed by chanced .... stumbled
upon by his two young children while they were playing in their backyard.
.............. What he found was a chunk of white marble .... It's
incription, incredibly well preserved reads: 'George W. Seaver, Died May
6, 1871, Aged 29 years.' Above the incription, the Masonic emblem is
engraved."
The rest of the article discusss the "family discussions" of the how's and
why's of how the gravestone got in the yard. Part of the mystery is that
a different gravestone for George's family exists in the "Lowell Cemetery."
That's all I can mention this morning.

I don't know if you can still access the article from the web site. They
have a "less than perfect" web site !
