William Perry, b. 1606; proprietor, 1642; probably came from Scituate to
Watertown.
He was a tailor; died Sept 9, 1683. His Will, made at the age of 75, not
dated, but
proved Oct. 2, 1683; gave all his estate to wife, Anna (b. 1611), during her
life.
Afterwards to be divided among his children, viz.: Obadiah, Samuel, Sarah,
Anna,
Elizabeth and Abia (who married Jan. 3, 1673-4, William Bull).
In a petition to Court, 1682, by William Perry and wife, Anna, they mention
sister
Livermore, midwife, and our sister Chinery. The birth of only one child
recorded,
viz. Elizabeth Perry b. Aug 12, 1641. Inventory: 98 pounds.
There was a John Perry of Watertown, 1674, then aged 61; perhaps the father
of John Perry.
Obadiah Perry, son of william Perry, m. Aug 21, 1667, Hester Hassel. She
died Oct. 6,
1692. He was admitted freeman May 8, 1678 and probably moved to Billerica
about 1694.

her son John Perry at Cambridge, February, 1725. Children:
1. John Perry b. Oct 1, died Nov. 8, 1668.
2. John Perry (again) b. Mar 3, 1669-70; m. July 19, 1693, Sarah Price. She
died a widow,

3. Josiah Perry b. Feb 8, 1713/14; m. Mar 10, 1735/6, Elizabeth Harrington.
She died Sept 11, 1748 and he m. (2) Oct 17, 1749, Sarah Stowell. She was
dismissed to Worcester church, Aug 3, 1752. Children:
1. Joshua Perry, bap. Oct 25, 1741.
