Kathy,
Have you checked a local genealogical and/or public library for a business
directory for the time period? That would be my first stop. Then check
death records for that time. You may find his signature someplace.

Subject: [MAMiddle] Michael Farrell, undertaker in Boston
Hi all - is there a source of information on undertakers specifically? A
genealogy uncle was:
Michael Farrell/Farrall, born 25 July 1839 likely in Cambridge MA.
married Mary A Brodigan circa 1864
died 10 Jan 1929
He was an undertaker at 1336 Tremont St, Boston MA by 1900, and resided at
691 Parker St, Boston. He had five kids, Ellen, Edward, Wm, Henry, and
Joeseph.
I have vital stats, census. I would like something like professional
membership, business listing, or such.
Any ideas? thanks
