I've "rescued" an old photograph of Kate J. L. SLATER taken at the Warren
Studio in Cambridgeport, MA. The photograph is dated Wednesday, Feb 21 1866
and also indicates that Kate died on Saturday, August 28th 1869 at 5:45pm at
the age of 31 years 11 months and 14 days. Based on that information I
believe she was probably about 28 years old in the photograph.

I am hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member
of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
