Hi Karen,

Do you know about the web site for Philomon WRIGHT, and the large plaque
erected in 1980 on the farm in Winchester, MA, where he lived before he left
for Canada?

While looking for the web site I'm thinking about, I found this page which
mentions him:

http://www.winchester.us/ArchivalCenter/Invention.html

Here is an old posting of mine from 2006 about him:

http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/th/read/AMERICAN-REVOLUTION/2006-05/1146934178

The farm is mentioned in this Google / Book:

http://books.google.com/books?id=b6AhB-PTzMYC&pg=PA1168&lpg=PA1168&dq=%22Philemon+Wright+Winchester%22&source=web&ots=WQc86QNxFx&sig=50OWGUjg8LIX5npMv9P_FTNKxl0

Here is a picture of him:

Here is a picture of the farm in Winchester, from a newspaper article:

I'll try to find the web site I'm thinking of later in the day.

(That farm in Winchester bordered on my ancestors' HUTCHINSON Farm; they
were 19 and 21 Ridge St.)
