I am hoping that someone can help me. I am looking for the Clough
Family. From old letters I have the names of two daughters of Martha
Clough ( was Stewart married a A. Clough year unknown) they are Ella F.
Clough and Edna Louise Clough. Martha was a daughter of Alexander
Stewart from his first marriage I have no information on her mother. I
have information that she was born in Scotland. Alexander immigrated to
Australia and re married to a Margaret Bell in 1844. I am decended from
this marriage. Martha wrote letters to Australia to her half-brother
William also called Bill but unfortunatilly they were sent to a
professional researcher in the 60's and lost. From what we do have left
Martha and her daughters lived in Plainville when the letters were sent
in teh 1870-1880's. Can anyone help me find this branch of my family ?
