Dear Susan:

I'm a direct descendant of Nathaniel Cobb and Mary Waterman, through their
daughter Mary who m. Nathaniel Pratt. I have not found her parentage yet. I
first thought Robert Waterman of Plymouth, Plympton and Halifax, Mass., who
married, 19 March, 1702, Mary Cushman4 (Isaac3, Mary2 Allerton, Isaac1),
could be a possibility since he names a daughter Mary in his will (From the
MD). But this doesn't seem likely since Mary married Nathaniel Cobb in 1720,
then her own parents marriage probably would have been earlier than 1702. I
haven't read it, but there is a published Waterman Genealogy by Donald Lines
Jacobus and Edgar Francis Waterman. If I find anything promising, I will let
you know.

Am searching for a clue as to the parentage of Mary Waterman who married
Nathaniel Cobb (son of Ebenezer & Marcy (Holmes) Cobb), at Plymouth, 14 July
1720. She was probably born about 1698-1700. Have checked Plymouth vitals
and MD with no success.
