I was recently apprised of a new piece of information which I found
quite interesting.
3 September 1809
Died on Thursday the 17th ult. in Sadsbury township, Chester County,
Pennsylvania, Dr. Daniel Eaton, born in the state of Massachusetts. He
left a widow and 2 small children.
Does anyone have any information on this man?
The only doctors I can think of that might be around in those days
would be medical doctors or preachers and probably this title would only
be used by medical doctors.
Does anyone know where I could get a list of the medical schools
that existed in Massachusetts around 1800. The schools might have a
listing of graduates. With 2 small children he was probably born around
1780 and would have finished school around 1800.
Any thoughts or clues are appreciated.
