According to the Silvester series in NEHGR he was probably already in
Wiscasset when he married. See Albert Henry Silvester, "Richard Silvester
of Weymouth, Mass., and Some of His Descendants" (NEHGR, 85 [1927]:247-265,
357-371; 86 [1928]:84-93, 120-132, 286-299; Corr. & Add.: 87 [1929]:84; 128
[1974]:202), 86:88.

I don't recall seeing any in the published records of the Second Church. In
any case there is no record of Joshua's dismissal in those published
