Hi: Thank you to everyone contributing on the discussion of Edward and
Hannah Bumpas/Bumpus land ownership; it's been interesting to follow.

For other Bumpus researchers, if you haven't been there already, there is a
website started by Paul and Stephen Bumpus that includes the genealogy
written by Lynn Albert Bumpus on the descendants of Edward 1:

Can anyone tell me if there was a close or distant blood relationship
between Edward Bumpas
and John Rouse or one of their descendants? Or a Smith?

Ancestry.com search results say that in 1655 with the consent of his wife
Hannah, Edward Bumpas of Marshfield sold to Edmond Chandeler of Duxburrow
the Ducke Hill land lying between the lands of John Rouse and the lands of
Edmond Chandeler.
