Subject: Marriage to Rebecca BARKER

My relative Herman Wilber SNOW had genealogical research done and printed in
the early 1890s using the Bridgewater history which was then current. At that
time it was recorded that our ancestor William SNOW had married Rebecca
BARKER. This is the history I had when starting my research. Imagine my surprise in
finding that it was actually Rebecca BROWN and that we are Mayflower
descendants. I believe that information came to light sometime in the 1920s. Does
anyone have the information as to how that came about?
