Sorry Lists - I didn't realize that rootsweb didn't keep any addresses in the Cc address line. So you were not able to get Brian's email and therefore, if you were interested in yDNA project for the Nichol(l's) surname you had no way of conacting Brian for more information. Hi list - Being a Nichols my self, I am interested in any information concerning Thomas Nicholl, Sr. and Edmund Nicholl. Looking for possible links to early colonial America circa 1650 or thereabouts.

I have joined the ftDNA group and had my yDNA tested. The results indicate a strong possibility of Welsh origins as well as Irish, British and Scotch. Any Nicholl(s) with a living male member of their family should consider having their yDNA tested so that connections can be made with cousins around the world. We have formed a Nichol(ls) surname group and we currently have 50+ members but need a great many more especially from GB. If you're interested contact Brian Hamman, the moderator of our group.
