Subject: [MARKHAM] Trying Again-Rev Lewis S Markham

Dear Markham friends,
Several weeks ago I sent two postings to the Markham List asking about
William Markham of Bourbon co, Kentucky and Rev Lewis S Markham. I wanted to
say "Thank You" to several who responded. Unfortunately, while trying to
download some of the information that was sent, my computer "glitched". It
did major damage to my AOL program and destroyed all my personal files in
AOL. I have been working with AOL trying to recover the files---but, no
luck. I'm starting over. I did not have the opportunity to see the
information that was sent to me personally, nor do I know who sent it. My
apologies.
Thanks to Ralph Clark for his response, via the Markham List, on William
Markham of Bourbon co, Ky. It doesn't appear that anyone is working on that
family group right now.
I am still interested in hearing from anyone who might know ancestry or
further details on Rev Lewis S Markham of Louisiana and Texas.
Let me know if I can check my Markham database for others. I am trying
to identify as many 'Markham-Marcums in -or- out of Virginia' as I can.
